PEP – About Us
PnL Explained Professionals (PEP) is a professional
association for practitioners who work with PnL Explained reporting. It was founded in January 2009 by Brian Shydlo.
Membership is free (for now) and open to anyone who meets the membership
criteria which includes having a minimum proficiency in PnL Explained
reporting.
Brian
Shydlo Bio
Brian started his career as a
commodity options trader and has worked as an instructor of statistics at New York University. He has worked with PnL
explained reporting since 1992. He,
i.e., Brian Shydlo, has published articles in Energy Risk magazine on PnL
Explained and various related topics.
He has an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University
and a BS in economics from the Wharton
School at the University of Pennsylvania. Brian is a Managing Principal at Essentia Advisory Partners, an EPAM
company.
